Paul Martin

Paul Martin is KPMG’s UK Head of Retail. He joined KPMG in 2015 through the acquisition of Boxwood where he co-lead the consulting practice for the retail & consumer sector. He is an experienced international business professional with over 15 years of experience in consulting, market research and operational roles focussing on the retail sector.

Paul previously held the role of Managing Director at global retail analyst firm Planet Retail as well as having worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit and T Mobile Stores.

His main areas of experience are internationalisation and digitally enabled customer centric – channel agnostic transformation programmes.

Over the span of his career Paul has worked with many of the world’s leading retail and consumer goods companies across a variety of geographies. He prides himself of having visited retail stores in more than 80 countries.

Paul is a recognised thought-leader and disruptive thinker and is a regular conference speaker where he shares his views on the global retail market.

He has lived in 5 different countries including Germany and speaks a number of languages and now calls London home.
